Parent Information Evening
The event will start at 5pm with a short presentation about life in the sixth form. Parents will then have the opportunity to meet with our sixth form tutors to reflect on the first couple of weeks in the sixth form.
We strongly believe that the partnership between home and school is essential as we work together for your sons’ and daughters’ future, our students’ future. Your appointment with the tutor will be the first step in ensuring that the next two years of A level study will be productive and successful.
You will also have the opportunity to meet some of our Year 13 students who will be able to give you an insight into the demands of Post 16 education.
Please could you email Carla.tomlinson@st-benedicts.cumbria.sch.uk to confirm your attendance.
A special drop in session from 3.15pm onwards. Parents can pop in to have a chat with Mrs Kar if they have any concerns or issues
Sixth Form Open Evening + Year 11 Information Evening
For September 2018 starters.
Choosing the subjects to study at Sixth Form level is one of the most important decisions your son/daughter will ever make.
This event will hopefully provide the necessary information to help in making that decision. Information will be given on the courses we offer, together with details about life as a student at St Benedict’s.
Current St Benedict's Year 11 Students are invited to attend a short presentation at 5.30pm.
Students from other schools should arrive at 6pm prompt for a presentation, followed by a chance to meet current students and teachers to find out more about the subjects you are interested in.
