[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]St Benedict’s established a Parental Consultation Group in October 2016 which has now been rebranded into our new Parent / Carer Council. The purpose of the Council is to offer parents and carers the opportunity to act as a ‘sounding board’ on a variety of issues identified by the school, and which will allow the school to reflect on its current practice. Also, parents’ and carers’ opinions will be really helpful in providing feedback on new developments and ideas as the school further progresses its agenda on a range of initiatives.
Meetings will take place half-termly and dates will be published on the school calendar. Feedback from the meetings will be published on The Parent / Carer Council page of the website. Should parents require further information they should contact the Headteacher’s PA, on admin@st-benedicts.cumbria.sch.uk
We hope that as parents / carers you will feel able to contribute your opinions and ideas, and we very much welcome your attendance at our Parent Council meetings.
