Year 11 students from St Benedict’s have today returned to school to collect their GCSE results and celebrated with parents and teachers, and friends.

Students received their results either via e-mail, or most came into school to collect them. They then had the chance to speak to their teachers, careers advisors and have a Sixth Form interview if they required.  

Mrs Jackson, Headteacher at St Benedict’s said:

We are extremely proud of all of our GCSE students; your hard work, resilience, and determination have shone through. Whatever the outcome, you have already achieved so much. Good Luck for your future, believe in yourselves and enjoy your next steps!

Notable results this year included:

Sophia Juson gained Grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, English Language, Grade 8s in Business, Geography, Maths, Physics & RE, and also Merit in Extended Maths.

Audrey Okundaye gained Grade 9s in English Language and RE, Grade 8s in Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Geography, Grade 7s in French, Maths, and Physics and also Merit in Extended Maths.

Immy Smith gained Level Two Distinction* in Health & Social Care, Grade 9s in History & RE, Grade 8s in English Language, English Literature and Maths, Grade 7s in Combined Science, Grade 5 in Spanish and a Pass in Extended Maths.

Alex Pater gained Grade 9 in RE, Grade 8s in Biology, Chemistry, Geography and Maths, Grade 7 in English Literature, English Language, French and Physics and Pass in Extended Maths.

Mrs Muncaster, the Head of Year 11 commented:

“Year 11 – your journey through GCSE’s has been a testament to your diligence.  As you step into your next chapter, carry that same spirit with you. Keep working hard, stay driven and you can achieve anything. You’ve got this!”
