Last night our U14 Boys Football team took on Workington Academy in the COUNTY CUP whilst battling awful conditions.
The team started excellently going 2-0 up at half time. At the start of the second half Workington were given an opportunity to get back into the game from the penalty spot. However, Matty L pulled off an excellent double save to ensure the score remained 2-0.
St. Benedict then built on their excellent performance by scoring another 3 goals in the second half to finish it game 5-0.
The goal scorers were Alfie P x 4 and Harry G x1
