Our U12 Girls Football team produced a brilliant all-round performance to secure a convincing 5–1 victory in the COUNTY CUP, showing composure, teamwork, and real attacking quality from start to finish.
The team started tentatively, weighing up a strong West Lakes Academy team. The momentum built as Bayleigh was a force on the right wing and we secured our first goal courtesy of Ellie just before the half time whistle.
Despite a brief spell of pressure from the opposition, the defence—marshalled superbly by Isla and Alyssa—kept things tight, and goalkeeper Niamh made a strong saves to preserve the advantage. The second half saw more of the same energy and determination and goals from Sadie, Poppy and Honey.
