A group of our talented students were celebrating at the weekend, after winning their first ever trophy at Whitehaven Music Festival!
The students, who are part of our Musical Theatre club won FIRST PLACE for their performance of ‘Wicked’ in the Musical Theatre Ensemble category.
Miss Mills who coaches the group said:
“They students also performed a beautiful ‘Greatest Showman’ medley and many of the parents were brought to tears. They were exceptionally well behaved and did our school proud!”
“We had lots of comments from the public about how professional they looked on stage and how lovely they all were. I was extremely proud of them all!”
Danah P also won the Tony Roberts for her performance the poem The Greedy Dog By James Hurley in the Drama & Speech category.
Anna McC and Bobby D also did amazing performances later on in the Senior X Factor class.
