Rhys Jackson from our Sixth Form was recently awarded the IMechE Bursary from REACT Engineering. Applicants are invited to apply if they plan on studying at Bachelors level or above in any Engineering, Science, Maths or Technology related degree course.
Mrs Kelso commented:
“We are delighted that Rhys has won the IMechE West Cumbria bursary of £1,000 as he plans on studying mechanical engineering at university. This is a testament to his hard work and determination to do well in all his A levels.”
“We encourage our Science and Engineering students to apply for the REACT awards and we are delighted that the three main prize winners this year are all members of our Sixth Form. They are a credit to our school and the teachers who support them to be outstanding.”
