Our Patron Saint

Our school Patron Saint guides, inspires and intercedes for us each and every day. St Benedict dedicated his life to building the Kingdom of God here on earth, brick by brick, rule by rule.

St Benedict’s Rule was a series of instructions for a life of work and payer in monastic communities. Although the Benedictine Rule was written centuries ago, it is still used as the basis for monastic life in many Religious orders today.

Our own virtues and values have been inspired by Benedict’s writings and play a huge part in our school communities’ identity, especially in how we behave, work and pray. We are guided by his knowledge, wisdom and humility.

Help me, O great St. Benedict, to live and die as a faithful child of God, to be ever submissive to His holy will, to constantly strive for a life of virtue, and to attain the eternal happiness of heaven.

Amen.
