We hope you all have a restful and fun filled Summer Holidays!
Dear Parents, Carers, and Families,
As we come to the end of another academic year, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on what has been a remarkable journey for our school community.
Celebrating Success
This year has been filled with achievement, growth, and resilience. From academic milestones to sporting triumphs, creative arts performances, and charitable initiatives, our pupils have shown dedication, enthusiasm, and a real sense of community spirit. Whether it was our amazing win in the Rugby League finals to become National champions or our brilliant musical show case early in the year or the everyday efforts in the classroom, every child has contributed something special.
Not least of course was our very successful OFSTED inspection. The school was once again recognised as a good school. I am proud to lead a school with such high standards both of behaviour and academic achievement.
Thank You
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff for their unwavering commitment and hard work. Their care and professionalism continue to make our school a nurturing and inspiring place for children to learn and grow.
A special thank you also goes to you – our parents and carers – for your continued support. Your involvement in school life, whether through attending events, supporting learning at home, or simply encouraging your child each day, makes a real difference.
Moving On and Looking Ahead
This week we welcomed around 180 Year 6 students to school. We are very excited to get to know them all properly in September. To our Year 11 and 13 pupils – congratulations on completing your secondary school journey. We are so proud of the young people you have become and we wish you every success as you take the next step in your education.
We also bid farewell to a small number of staff members this year, and we thank them for their contributions. At the same time, we are excited to welcome new colleagues who will bring fresh energy and ideas to our team.
Looking ahead to next academic year, we have ambitious plans for continued improvement, curriculum development, and further enriching the school experience for all children.
Summer Wishes
Finally, I wish all our families a happy, restful, and safe summer holiday. Enjoy the time together, make memories, and return in September ready for another exciting year.
Warmest regards,
Mrs Emma Jackson
