Our U13 girls kicked off their National Cup campaign in spectacular fashion with a dominant performance against Netherhall School in the first round.

From the very first whistle, the team showed their intent. Within just 25 seconds, Lucy H opened the scoring with a thunderous strike, setting the tone for what would be an unforgettable match. The early pressure continued, and Rosa R doubled the lead shortly after, finishing confidently from a well-placed cross.

Lucy H was unstoppable throughout the first half, adding two more goals to her tally. One was a moment of brilliance as she flicked the ball over a defender’s head and volleyed it into the bottom corner – a goal worthy of any highlight reel. Sadie H then made it 5-0 before the break, giving the team a comfortable cushion heading into the second half.

The second half saw the girls continue with the same energy and confidence. They added six more goals, showcasing their attacking flair and teamwork. Among the scorers were Sadie G, Sadie H, and Loe R-E, each contributing with fantastic finishes that reflected the team’s dominance.

The final scoreline was emphatic, and the girls were absolutely fantastic throughout – not just in their performance, but in the way they represented the school. They were true ambassadors, showing sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination.
