What is it?
CREST Gold can be used by students to enhance their UCAS personal statements. The award is recognised and respected by universities and employers. Students who gain a Gold Award receive a personalised certificate.
How do I gain this qualification?
To be awarded a Gold CREST award, students must complete a project that makes an original contribution to a STEM field; the aim is for students to hone their investigative skills and employ scientific methods to conduct their own piece of research.

Send a letter of application to Mr Stevenson via Microsoft Teams explaining why you wish to complete this course and how you will manage the extra demands on your time – Closing date: 25/11/2020
All applications will be considered and if you are a strong candidate you will be shortlisted for interview on approx. 2/12/2020 with an industrial mentor and Mr Stevenson.
The three successful candidates will then be entered for the course.
