Social Provision & After School Clubs

We offer a daily Maths homework club from 8 a.m. until 8:30 a.m.

Students who arrive at school early may also come into the SEND department from 8 a.m. until 8:30 a.m.

At break times the SEND department is open for quiet conversation to avoid the hustle and bustle of the main school. For students who cannot cope with larger numbers of students provision is in L10 which also has a small outside area. Numbers of students are limited to 4 in this area.

At lunchtimes the SEND department is open from 12:15 p.m. until 1:35 p.m. for quiet conversation and completion of homework. Students are discouraged from using their mobile phones at these times as they distract each other.

Provision will be made for a SEND student who may need access to ICT technology at social times.  Again for students who cannot cope with larger numbers of students provision is in L10 which also has a small outside area. Numbers of students are limited to 4 in this area.
