Year 11 Students Represent County

It was great to see two of our Year 11 students represent their county at the weekend.

James Bell and Tor Supyai played for the County U18 Representative Team in the Northern Counties League fixture.

The team played top of the table Liverpool FA, beating them 2 – 0 with two second half goals.

Mr Lambert, PE Teacher at St Benedict’s comments:

“Congratulations to both James Bell and Tor Supyai on their selection for the Cumberland Under 18 squad. It is a huge honour to represent your county at any sport at any age.”

James was extremely pleased to play again:

“This was my second game for County but it was my first start. I felt proud walking onto the pitch and felt even better knowing I helped the side win against a good side from Liverpool.”
