Our latest students have been awarded with their ‘Student of the Week’ awards.
Various students are nominated each week, and a winner is chosen for each Year Group.
Josh Coombe was nominated by Mrs Bragg for his work in English. She said:
“He always has his hand up in class, tries his best, listens carefully and produces work to the best of his ability. A truly wonderful student!”
Mycah Labiano was nominated for her excellent work developing a website. She has developed a website entirely by writing HTML and CSS code. She gave up her lunch times to make sure it was spotless.
Dylan Cromwell is to be commended because his participation and consistency in French are brilliant.
Gracie Kiddie won for her work in Maths. She is to be commended for a huge improvement in her Maths retest score – the biggest in the class.
Ellie Nutt has been an exceptional role model to her peers by completing all of her BTEC coursework before the deadline. She has also demonstrated an outstanding contribution tot he Performing Arts Department by giving up her own time to choreograph a key scene for our musical ‘Legally Blonde.’ Ellie has also lead the Year 7 and 8 dancers in an after school rehearsal; she is showing excellent leadership and communication skills.
Adam Corkish was this weeks winner from the Sixth Form. He was nominated by Miss Powe, she said:
“Adam is a fantastic student; he is polite, organised and above all, caring towards his peers. He gets tasks done and actually ‘gets’ how the things we ask students to do, has a real benefit for their career development.”
