Student of the Week

Our latest Student of the Week award has gone to not one, but three talented students. All of whom were nominated for their work in English.

First up was Reid Nichols from Year 7 who was nominated by Miss Murray. She said:

“Reid, along with some other students, decided to bake a cake relating to our current topic ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ It was very well crafted and delicious!’

Reid receiving his award from Mr Bridgman and Mrs Murray.

Also a winner for his work in English was Zac Clarke from Year 7. He was nominated by Mrs Bragg who said:

“Zac produced some fantastic homework in English. He made a mask for the character of Bottom in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

And finally we have Ryan McNeil from from Year 8. He was nominated by Mrs Bishop who was impressed with his writing. She said:

“Ryan wrote a fantastic detective story for his English homework, in the style of Raymond Chandler, Mystery of the Happy Hotel. It was a really good piece of writing, with lots of imagination and effort put into it.”

Well done to all of our winners!
