Our Rock Challenge 2017 team have this weekend showcased their performance at Carlisle Sands Centre, along with various other secondary and primary schools from around West Cumbria.
Rock Challenge is an anti-drugs and crime prevention performing arts competition, funded by the BYB Foundation.
Due to their success last year, the team were competing as a Premier Team, which means they will now go through to the final in July. They performed their ‘Exodus’ showcase, which they have been rehearsing for the last 6 month.
The team went on to be awarded 12 Premier Awards of Excellence in the following categories:
Set Design and Function
They will now go on to compete in the regional competition in Grimsby on the 1st of July. Here, they will be competing against the top schools from the North in the Northern Premier Division.
