As part of St Benedict’s policy of raising awareness of Higher Education, 16 lower sixth form students attended the Oxford & Cambridge Student Conference on Tuesday, 21st March 2017, at St. James’ Park, Newcastle.
At the Conference, students were given the real facts about Oxford and Cambridge Universities and information on the application process and student life at each University. They were also advised on how to make a competitive application, student finance and careers. These talks were complemented by subject specific sessions by leading professionals in their field.
Whilst the conference was specific to these two universities, students can use the information given when applying to other institutions.
