Letter from Mrs Jackson – 4th December

Dear Parents and Carers

As you are aware, we are approaching the end of a very difficult year.  We have been giving some thought as to how we can make the end of term special.

On Thursday, 10th of December, we will have Christmas lunch in school. This will be charged at £3 a head for a complete lunch.  Please make sure you have sufficient money on your account if your child wishes to join in.

On Friday, 11th December, the sixth form will have their alternative end of term breakfast (details available from the pupils).

In the week beginning the 14th December, all year groups will have their achievement assemblies, where we will celebrate all of our successes this term.

On Wednesday, 16th of December, all pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 will be watching ‘Cinderella Live’.  This is a virtual pantomime as we are unable to visit the real thing this year.

On Thursday, 17th December we have our virtual Carol Service.  More details are to follow and we hope that you enjoy this event.

Finally, on Friday, 18th December, we will have a non-uniform day.  We would really like everyone to try and dress for Christmas (Christmas jumpers would be great), but there is no obligation to do so.

We finish for the Christmas holidays at 1.15pm on Friday, 18th December and return on Tuesday, 5th January.

We hope you have a happy, safe and Holy Christmas.

God bless

Emma Jackson
Head Teacher
