Last week we held a special Leavers Mass for our students who are leaving us this year.
The evening was to celebrate the end of school for our Year 11’s and 13’s before their exams started. We were joined by students, parents and staff to celebrate the mass along with our Priest Chaplain Fr John Mark.
Head Boy and Girl Amber Farrer and Patrick Brennan gave a great speech reflecting upon their time at St Benedict’s over the past 7 years and shared some stories of their time in school as well as some advice for the year 11’s.
Richard Teasdale, Chaplain at our school commented:
“It was a great occasion to come together as a Catholic community and celebrate everything that the students have brought to the school in their time here. Thank you to everyone who helped out on the night and contributed to a beautiful and reflective leavers mass.”
We’d like to wish all the students good luck in their exams and future endeavours.
