This half term we have held our Information, Advice and Guidance Evenings for Years 7&8, Year 9 and Year 10. The events were well attended, and those parents who did attend found it very useful.
Why do we have these evenings?
- The ever-increasing importance of achieving good GCSEs including English and Maths as the key to your child’s future.
- Increasing options available locally at the end of KS3 (Year 9), KS4 (Year 11), KS5 (Sixth Form).
- To help you and your child to begin to have conversations about future choices.
- The increasing need for school and home to work closely together to support our young people.
IAG covers the full range of issues which might impact on a young person’s life – ranging from careers and learning to lifestyle issues.
