St Benedict’s is an 11-19 Catholic High School that serves a wide catchment area in West Cumbria. We are a true comprehensive with students of all abilities and diverse backgrounds.

 

Rated ‘Good with outstanding features’ by Ofsted,  we are a larger than average school, housed in modern accommodation with extensive grounds.

 

Our school is situated on the Cumbrian coast on the edge of the Lake District National Park and not as remote as you might imagine! COVER SUPERVISOR

This is a permanent post, part time (32.5 hrs per week). Scale 4 points 18-21 (£18,070 – £20,138 pro rata)

 

The post will require you to cover for the short term absence of teaching staff, taking sole charge of a group of students, who will learn by carrying out pre-prepared work under your supervision. You will, ideally, have English and Maths GCSEs at Grade C or above, be qualified to Level 3 in a relevant discipline, have some competency in the use of ICT, and some knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
