Acting Head of Year 7 – Miss Hunter

Hello and welcome to our new Year 7’s!

My name is Miss Hunter and I’m a Maths Teacher and also the Head of Year 7 in September.

I am really glad that we get to start this journey together and I can’t wait to meet each and every one of you.

Moving up to secondary school is a very exciting step but also can be a little confusing and overwhelming. Your tutor and I will ensure you make a smooth transition and we are excited to welcome you into our amazing school community.

It is my job to ensure that you are being the best person that you can be and that you are reaching your full potential. Throughout the year I will check in with you often to see how you are doing. I have already heard lots of amazing things about you from your primary school teachers and I know you will really enjoy it here.

There are so many exciting opportunities at St Benedict’s for you to get involved in and my advice would be to try them all! You may be a little nervous this year as you haven’t had the opportunity to take part in a taster day but please do not worry, we will show you around your new school and make sure you know what you are doing from the moment we meet. Enjoy your summer, stay safe and I look forward to meeting you in September.

Miss Hunter’s top tips: Be organised, be on time, be kind to one another and always try your very best in everything you do!
